"Nothing Better (Fanatical Pupil Remix)"
(original by The Postal Service)
Will someone please call a surgeon?
Cause I've given my heart,
but I really could use another
to pump my boiling blood
to places I cannot mention
because I feel more passion
than the Pistons-Pacers rivalry
So crack my skull and repair these fuzzy connections
That make me dizzy when I'm desserting with her company
I can accept that I'm here now
I'm not going away like a sedentary cat
Or a performer with only one lung to breathe
So just say what's left is right
And I swear I'll do my best to comply
Tell me am I right to think that there could be nothing better
Than making you my bride and slowly growing old together?
I feel must introspect here you're not carried away, I can tell you're holding back
With these visions and mouth-flapping poetry
So let me help you remember:
I've got overheads and 12-ups and even a final exam
I've prepared some lessons on the kind of love I need
But most of all, I'm a flower
and it doesn't rain here as much as in Oregon
And so if you need one, I can buy a watering can
and we can both get swept away
like two little hamsters
afloat on Noah's Ark
So fill your can and love me so
I will my darling, you've helped me grow...
Tell me am I right to think that there could be nothing better
Than making you my bride and slowly growing old together?
